ABOUT US
HIGHLAND PRIDE SCIO
We are a Scottish charity (SC050189) run entirely by a small team of volunteers in our spare time. We do not have any paid staff and 100% of the money we raise goes back into the work we do and the events we put on.
We have a charitable Purpose “to advance the wellbeing of the LGBTQ+ Community in the Highlands” and we have a Vision “that one day we shall achieve equality of belonging”.
We do this by signposting information, sharing the activity and work of other allied groups, and by staging events such as “Highland Pride” and a candle-lit vigil for Trans Day of Remembrance. We support other smaller projects and have an active Social Media presence on Facebook and Instagram.
HIGHLAND PRIDE
Highland Pride is a pride event for the LGBTQ+ community and allies in – as well as visitors to – the Highlands. It is organised by volunteers from Highland Pride SCIO.
