PRIDE 2023

We’re delighted to finally announce the return of our pride event after a three-year break. This year’s event, which is subject to license approval, will take place in Inverness on Saturday 22 July 2023, and includes a proposed march through the streets of Inverness to the Northern Meeting Park for speeches, music, food, stalls and more.

We’d love to see our LGBT+ community and allies across the Highlands and Islands, and Moray come together to celebrate with us.

We’ve also launched a JustGiving campaign page to help raise funds so we can organise a free event which we can all be proud of and enjoy.

Highland Pride is organised by Highland Pride SCIO in conjunction with the Highland LGBT Forum and with funding from Awards for All (The National Lottery Community Fund) and the Inverness Common Good Fund

Parade

It is intended for the parade to start at 2.30 pm from the Crown Primary School. This may be subject to change as part of the planning process. Should this happen, we will inform all registered groups and post updates on our social media and website.

Party in the Park

The Party in the Park will be in the Northern Meeting Park.

Gates open at 3 pm, and the event will end at 8 pm.

For safety and operational reasons, numbers allowed into the Northern Meeting Park will be restricted. You will only gain entry if you’re wearing a Highland Pride wristband. To get a wristband you must first book a ticket and then exchange it for a wristband.

If you do not book a ticket you will not get a wristband.

No ticket = No wristband
No wristband = No access
